Subsidy Information
If cost is a barrier, we are happy to be able to provide a limited number of subsidies thanks to funding from the Province of Nova Scotia to support people to attend the conference. Funding is available to individuals from the following equity-deserving groups: 2SLGBTQ+, African Nova Scotians, Indigenous Persons, Other Racially Visible Persons, Persons with a Disability, and Post-Secondary Students. A total of 25 subsidies are available for the conference with 20 conference registrations along with 5 full registration packages (incl. conference registration, transport and accommodation).

2022 RNS Conference
The 2022 RNS Conference took place October 19-21 at the Dartmouth Delta Hotel. The theme was “REConnect,” which invited recreation practitioners, community organizations, students, and other volunteers and professionals in the recreation field to reconnect with each other, the sector, and the work that we’re all passionate about.
