Conference Funding is Now Closed!
Recreation Nova Scotia has received funding from the Province of Nova Scotia through the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage to provide financial assistance towards fees associated with attending the 2024 Recreation Nova Scotia Annual Conference.
The funding will go towards supporting individuals from equity-seeking groups as well as members of Provincial Recreation Organizations to offset the cost of attending this engaging event.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Canadian Parks & Recreation Association (CPRA) will host CPRA Day as the pre-conference session for the 2024 RNS Annual Conference on Wednesday, October 16, 2024!
Join us for a day of empowering networking opportunities, engaging presentations, and a lively discussion to inspire you. This is your chance to connect with the sector nationally, learn about CPRA, your national advocacy voice, and gain practical tools to help you become a strong advocate for our sector. You’ll also have the chance to contribute your insights and feedback to shape the next iteration of the Framework for Recreation in Canada, hear about successful advocacy campaigns, and learn how you can implement these strategies in your communities.

This is your opportunity to connect with the sector, leave a lasting impact, and gain recognition!
Opportunities are open to both for-profit ($1000, prime location) and non-profits *(donation of a small item). Tables, tablecloths, and chairs will be provided. There will be a prize draw to encourage attendees to visit each table so you can ensure you will have people to engage with!
