June is Recreation Month in Nova Scotia – a time to recognize and celebrate the tremendous contributions recreation is making to our health, well-being and quality of life. This year we’ve partnered with the Healthy Tomorrow Foundation's Make Your Move campaign and the Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division to deliver an educational and fun promotion!

Week two: Recreation for Mental Health (June 8-14)

The raffle for week two will take place on Wednesday, June 15th.

Get moving this month by participating in CMHA’s Ride Don’t Hide Event and raise funds for programs and services to support people living with mental illness and those experiencing mental health challenges across Nova Scotia.

Week three: Connecting with Nature (June 15-21)

CMHA's Ride Don't Hide Event is a virtual choose-your-own-adventure challenge. You can ride, walk, run, dance or do yoga – whatever you do to move for your mental health, for 330 minutes in June, and help support essential programs and services across Nova Scotia.
