Recreation's Response: Climate Change Sharing Series - HRM Region

Climate change is already influencing how and where we explore and connect with nature. Which is why we are gathering to discuss how recreation can adapt and thrive in this changing environment by:

  • Sharing experiences and insights
  • Strengtheni ng connections, capacity, and resilience
  • Explore creative strategies for adapting recreation to a changing climate

Thank you for everyone who had joined us at the inaugural Recreation’s Response: Building Climate Resilience Together session on December 5th. Wela'liek! It was a day of connections and hope, with conversations that were rich, honest, and grounded in real experience.

Whats Next?

Please join us January 15th from 12-1pm for a ‘Lunch & Learn’ style session led by Recreation Nova Scotia.

We will present What We Heard for those that were unable to attend December 5th in person, and dig a bit deeper into shared learning and next steps.

Feel free to pass along the invite to other folks who might intersect with this work too, so we can keep building our network together!
