A Study of Nova Scotia's
Voluntary Sector Labour Force
A Provincial Conference
October 25, 2010
Location: Holiday Inn, Dartmouth, NS
Conference Focus:
For the first time in Nova Scotia, comprehensive research has been completed on the labour force of the provincial voluntary and non-profit sector. This conference will share the data collected on the size, scope, compensation levels, and other issues identified within this vital labour force. By understanding our workforce, the voluntary sector can strategically address the human resource needs of our sector's future.
Purpose:
Review the research results and gather sector leaders, employees and stakeholders to discuss potential strategies, resources and collaborations that can enhance the voluntary sector's human resource capacity.
