We at Recreation Nova Scotia and Sport Nova Scotia want to thank everyone for spreading the word across the province about SOGO Active and wish all of the youth (who signed up prior to May 31st, 2009) good luck with being chosen as a torchbearer for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games!
Now that the torchbearer phase has come to a close ParticipACTION and Coca Cola Ltd. have come up with a new exciting opportunity this summer for Canada's youth. Anyone between 13-19 years old who registers for the program will have a chance to win 1 of 12 Wii Fits across the country! For more details or to register please visit www.sogoactive.com.
Finally, there is still grant funding available (Up to $500) for youth groups who want to start new physical activity programs or build on existing ones.
