As a fun and exciting part of June is Recreation Month, Harbour View Elementary is organizing "Fit Friday's" every Friday from May 22nd till the end of classes in June. Encouring its students and staff to get up off their chairs and spend some time being active and enjoying recreation!

The HRM Bike Week Committee is pleased to invite you to join us at the many events and activities happening during HRM Bike Week 2009. Building on the success of last year's Bike Week, we have put together an exciting program of events which celebrate cycling, as well as educate and motivate residents to bicycle even more in 2009.

Campaign Launch
Students and staff of Michael Wallace Elementary School, Dartmouth, are holding an all-day Mini-Olympics on Friday, May 29th from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to kick off the provincial launch of June is Recreation Month in Nova Scotia.
