Recreation Nova Scotia and Dalhousie University's collaborative project about mental health and recreation, the Recreation 4 Mental Health project, is offering a frontline, 4 hour training on Tuesday March 26th from 1-5pm at the Sandy
Point Recreation Centre (1586 Sandy Point Rd) outside of Shelburne.

The cost is $25.

If you work in recreation in any capacity or in mental health, this training is for you! It's full of practical, promising practices derived from hot off the press research about how to make recreation more accessible to everyone, especially those experiencing mental health challenges. Learn practical ways to make a big difference to those more difficult to reach folks! This training is based upon research done with adults, but the findings and practices are very applicable to anyone ages 12 and up.

Limit to 12 people. Please email me, Emily LeGrand, at this email emilyalegran to sign up.
