Join the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance in partnership with Heart & Stroke, at the Wear Red Canada Halifax event; hosted on Wednesday, February 13th at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
During the event you will learn how we as women can protect our hearts at varying life stages, including heart healthy tips from various speakers and experts.
The purpose of the Wear Red Canada initiative is to raise awareness of commonly unrecognized heart diseases and risk factors for women, and how we can all contribute to improve women’s heart health. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) continues to be a leading cause of death in Canadian women. Sex and gender differences and disparities with respect to CVD awareness, development, identification and treatment persist.
There is no cost to attend this event, all are welcome; we just ask that you simply wear a piece of red clothing, and/or accessory.
If you would like to attend this event, please register for your free ticket here (as there is limited seating).
