Description Hosted by: Halifax Regional Municipality

Facilitators: Sydney Millar, CAAWS National Program Director and Laura Kelly, CAAWS Project Manager.

Newcomer On the Move workshops are interactive, issue-based sessions that provide an overview of the initiative, share best practices from across Canada, and provide “how-to” tips to increase the participation of girls and young women. This workshop is designed for anyone with an interest in the health and well-being of newcomer girls and young women i.e. recreation staff, health promoters, coaches, sport administrators, teachers, school administrators and staff from settlement service agencies.

The deadline to register for this FREE workshop is Tuesday January 31, 2012.
