Zero to Hero - Jobless to Lifeguard in Three Weekends
Cost:
$400 (tax included)
$220 (just NLS/SFA)

Dates:
1st weekend, February 12,13,14
2nd weekend, February 19,20,21
3rd weekend, February 26,27,28

Times:
Fridays, 6-10pm
Saturdays, 9am-5pm
Sundays, 9am-5pm

Prerequisites:
16 years old and able to swim 600m
BM/BC if taking just NLS

Course will be taught by Nova Scotia athletes attending the Rescue 2010 Lifesaving World Championship taking place October 2nd to 17th, 2010 in Alexandria, Rescue 2010 is one of the most significant life saving competitions of the world. The Egyptian Diving and Lifesaving Federation (EDLF) on behalf of the International Life Saving Federation (ILS) will organize it.

Over 3,000 athletes and 1,000 delegates, officials and team managers are getting set to take part in the event.
Nova Scotia will be sending a team of 8-12 Athletes along with a handful of officials to the Lifesaving World Championships. The Zero to Hero course will be taught by these athletes and officials with the registration fees going to help fund their trip.
