Make your own toque!
Here are some instructions for making a “homemade” Take the Roof off Winter Toque.
- Cut polar fleece across the width of material (you can feel the stretch as this goes around the head.
- Hem the bottom approximately 3-4 inches. This gives you a cuff to fold up.
- Hem the side of toque. This can be done with a serger or hem with a regular sewing machine.
- Cut fringes approximately 6 inches – in the top
- Tie fringes with a strip of polar fleece.
