Kentville Parks and Recreation: Bike Rodeo from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Friday June 27th. Annapolis Valley Cycling Coordinator, Colin Vibert, will host a bike rodeo geared towards youth under the age of 12. At the rodeo, which will take place at the track in Memorial Park, you can get your bikes checked, learn about bike safety, and win awesome prizes.

Kentville Parks and Recreation is holding a workshop at 4-cross course On Saturday June 28th. Cycling experts from Trail Flow will be giving two clinics at the new 4-cross course at Burgher Hill. Topics covered include body positioning, cornering technique, pumping, line choice and more! The first clinic will be for youth ages 10 to 13 and will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am. The second clinic will be for adults and youth ages 14+ and will be held from noon to 1:30pm. All you need to do is register on the Trail Flow’s website and show up June 28th for an exciting ride!

Kentville Parks and Recreation: Bike Movie Night and more from 6:30pm to 9pm on Saturday June 28th. Come finish off bike week with a fun, informative and relaxing movie night at the Recreation Centre. There will be a gear swap so if you’d like to bring some bike parts, accessories or memorabilia to trade, come on over! We’ll be watching some interesting short documentaries about cycling and extreme bike video clips, all while having access to great food from local vendors. At the end of the night, we’ll be giving away prizes for contest winners and participants alike. Come one come all to this great event!
