All proceeds from the RNS Golf Tournament go to support the James Bayer Bursary.
Who is James Bayer?
James Bayer had a huge impact on the development of Sport and Recreation, not only in Nova Scotia, but across Canada. He was a physical educator and a founding Director of Operations for the Nova Scotia Department of Recreation, as well as the Dean of the School of Recreation and Physical Education and the Director of Athletics at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. James Bayer has had a lasting impression on all those who knew him, friends, students and colleagues. His untimely death in 1985 took from Nova Scotians an enthusiastic, supportive and visionary leader in the field of Sport and Recreation.

Teams Registered
Teams have begun to register already and the spots will fill up quickly, so don't hesitate and get your team signed up now. Check back in late July to see what other teams will be participating.
Register before Friday August 13th and you will be entered into the Early Bird Draw for a chance to win a Ken-Wo Foursome Package - green fees and carts for four players, valid for the 2011 season.

Hole Sponsors
There are many ways to get involved in this tournament, and becoming a hole sponsor is yet another. Hole sponsors have the opportunity to market themselves to hundreds of professionals in the recreation, health promotion, and sport sectors.
