By participating in the cultural arts and physical activity, kids will develop healthy bodies, active minds, self esteem, social skills and community values. Everybody Gets to Play is a Canada-wide initiative led by the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) and coordinated locally by Recreation Nova Scotia.
Everybody Gets to Play workshops are designed to highlight the importance of accessible recreation, the community mobilization process and gain an understanding of the Everybody Gets to Play Tool Kit, community practitioners and volunteers are the target audience for this sponsored daylong workshop. Workshops are available upon request. To find out more information about a workshop taking place near you, please contact the RNS office at info@recreationns.ns.ca for more information, or call (902) 425-1128.
