The HRM Bike Week Committee is pleased to announce that building on the success of last year's Bike Week, we have put together an exciting program of events which celebrate cycling, as well as educate and motivate residents to bicycle even more in 2008.

The Town of Truro Parks and Recreation Department are launching June is Recreation Month with Hub Cycle, by hosting Bike Week with races for children, youth and adults at Victoria Park in Truro. The Richmond County Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation are kicking of June is Recreation Month on June 1, 2008, with Active Kids, Safe Kids. Bring your children and their bikes by for bike rides, bike maintenance and a barbecue. Event is open to children, teenagers and their families, and will take place at the St.
